WinMecC is a simulation program for planar mechanisms with one degree of freedom that has been developed for educational purposes by the Mechanical Engineering Area of the University of Málaga. WinMecC carries out the kinematic and dynamic analysis of planar mechanisms with any number of links.
Among its main characteristics the following features stand out:
- User Interface: Designed with the goal to be easy, simple and fast in creating and modifying different kinds of mechanism geometry.
- Calculation Core: It analyses the kinematics and dynamics of a mechanism with a high number of links in real time.
- Graphical Interface: It allows visualizing the great amount of information generated by the calculation core. The customer controls the visualization of the results by means of layers and tabs. Graphical results are displayed using curves, vectors on the kinematic scheme of the mechanism, diagrams and vector polygons among others.
